Program Description
Module 1 (Day 1): Mastering the Foundations of Effective Coaching
In this intensive first day, participants will immerse themselves in the core foundations of coaching excellence.
They will not only learn the theory, but actively practice and embody the essential competencies and mindsets that distinguish impactful coaches.
Key Focus Areas:
- Understanding the psychology and neuroscience of coaching: why coaching transforms behavior and thinking.
- Distinguishing between coaching, mentoring, managing, and consulting — and when to apply each.
- Deep dive into the Core Coaching Competencies (trust building, presence, active listening, powerful questioning, creating awareness, and fostering accountability).
- Learning and practicing structured coaching conversations using proven models (e.g., GROW Model and advanced adaptations).
- Building the inner stance of a coach: emotional regulation, humility, curiosity, and resilience.
Methodology:
- Short theoretical bursts followed by immediate practice.
- Triad simulations (Coach-Coachee-Observer rotation).
- Real-world cases and debriefs.
- Facilitated peer feedback to accelerate skill development.
By the end of Module 1, participants will confidently structure and run a real coaching conversation, applying foundational skills that can immediately be integrated into leadership and workplace interactions.
Module 2 (Day 2): Expanding Coaching Impact — Contexts, Challenges, and Professionalization
Building on the foundation of Day 1, the second day focuses on strategically applying coaching skills across diverse contexts, handling complex coaching challenges, and exploring the path to professional coaching for those who seek it.
Key Focus Areas:
- Coaching for Performance: Enhancing team productivity, accountability, and motivation without micromanagement.
- Coaching for Conflict and Difficult Conversations: Using coaching skills to mediate, resolve tensions, and foster understanding.
- Coaching for Innovation and Change: Unlocking new thinking patterns, creativity, and adaptability in teams.
- Embedding Coaching into Leadership: Moving from "doing" coaching to "being" a coaching-centered leader.
- Exploring Coaching as a Profession:
- Overview of professional coaching certifications (ICF, EMCC, etc.).
- How to start building a coaching portfolio.
- Ethical considerations and maintaining coaching integrity.
- Positioning yourself as a coach within or beyond your organization.
Methodology:
- Simulation labs across different coaching contexts.
- Critical incidents: participants will coach each other through real-world leadership dilemmas.
- Reflective journaling on coaching challenges and strengths.
- Personal strategic plan: How to embed coaching into career and leadership journey.
By the end of Module 2, participants will have a clear roadmap on how to integrate coaching into their leadership style — and, if desired, how to take their coaching skills to the next level professionally.

Maya El Tal

Maya El Tal is a renowned executive coach and leadership development facilitator with over 15 years of experience empowering leaders and organizations across diverse industries. She holds the prestigious Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and is an Accredited Master Coach (AMC) with the International Authority for Professional Coaching & Mentoring (IAPC&M), and a Blanchard® Leadership Certified Coach (BLCC
Maya has studied Leadership Coaching at Harvard University, where she deepened her expertise in applying neuroscience and human development principles to executive coaching .
In addition to her coaching credentials, Maya is a Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) by the Association for Talent Development (ATD). She is an associate faculty member at Cranfield Executive Education and the Lebanese American University, where she founded the Professional Coaching Associate Diploma Program. Maya is also a sought-after keynote speaker.
Maya's academic background includes a Master's degree in Neuroscience from the University of Bordeaux, an MBA from the Lebanese American University, and she is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration at Audencia University.
